Job Description

Intelexamp; Training Administrator On behalf of our client in the Utilities Sector, PROCOM is looking for an Intelexamp; Training Administrator. Intelexamp; Training Administrator – Job Description

  • The Intelex and Training Administrator is responsible for scheduling the corporation’s compliance and skill training, reporting on training records, and supporting the planning of training events This role also provides support in the corporate analysis around HS programs, metrics, and safety performance
  • Provides technical expertise for the HS System (INTELEX) in the planning, and scheduling of compliance and skill training
  • Manages input of courses, course descriptions and completed training attendance records into INTELEX
  • Supports the role of INTELEX “Super-User” Coordinator and analyst
  • Manages analysis, tracking and reporting of all compliance and skill training, supporting records, and employee data
  • Analyses trends and makes recommendations for improvements in the process for scheduling compliance and skill training
  • Tracks, prepares reports and evaluates training attendance records and provides consultation to managers and supervisors regarding compliance training levels and recommended corrective actions
  • Manages the training scheduling and delivery, including identifying opportunities for program enhancement and increased education
  • Reviews and analyzes reports on compliance and skill training performance, identifying trends and recommending opportunities for improvement
  • Supports the research compiling and analyzing information/data to assess H amp;S Compliance training, reports trend and identifies opportunities for improvement
  • Responsible for supporting compliance training with respect to changing legislation and best practices
  • Provides reports to internal stakeholders including Joint Health and Safety Committees, training, etc.
  • Identifies opportunities to streamline or automate processes to continuously improve service delivery
  • Liaises with INTELEX end-users and IT to respond to inquiries, troubleshoot and resolve system issues, and ensure operational effectiveness and data integrity in respect to training courses and training attendance records
  • Supports the management of the HS amp;E SharePoint site
  • Develops and documents key business/system processes and educational materials including user-guides, QRCs, etc.
  • Supports and participates in corporate initiatives, including the Project Keystone Change Agent Network and the Editorial Board
  • Participates in the organization, development and execution of corporate events involving H amp;S, such as Take Our Kids to Work Day
  • Performs other duties as assigned
Intelexamp; Training Administrator – Mandatory Skills
  • Working knowledge of the INTELEX Software system and specifically the INTELEX training module
  • Working knowledge of safety acts, regulations, legislation and codes
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office applications
  • Familiarity with HR Information Systems
  • 2+ years’ experience in Human Resources or Healthamp; Safety
  • High degree of integrity, diplomacy and confidentiality
  • Demonstrates creative problem-solving to resolve problems in a timely manner
  • Strong written and presentation skills, with the ability to explain information in an organized and concise way
  • Strong organizational skills and excellent attention to detail, with the ability to meet challenging deadlines
  • Ability to build and maintain collaborative working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Must hold and maintain a valid class “G” driver’s license
Intelexamp; Training Administrator - Nice to Have Skills
  • Experience in a unionized utility environment an asset
