Above all else, we believe in doing the right thing for our people, our communities and our planet.Reporting to the Senior Director Information Technology, the IT Project Manager’s primary focus will be to oversee IT Operations projects, including scope management, vendor management, financial planning, resource planning and change management considerations. The IT Project Manager will be responsible for establishing project performance management practises and evaluating project success and value using specific performance metrics.What you will do in this role:Provide leadership, guidance and insight to the IT Operations Team in the implementation of significant technology projectsCollaborate with the IT Senior Management team to ensure that all projects have well developed business cases, ROI calculations, Executive sponsorship and Senior Leadership approval to effectively initiate projectsCreate and manage the Project Portfolio including project prioritization, resource allocation, budgets and timelinesProvide project management leadership to the IT Operations teams at Recipe for all on-going projects, including day-to-day management of project issues, vendor management and escalation and project delivery timelinesManage and maintain Master Project schedule, while managing project dependencies and cross-functional project resourcesTrack and report on project progress, including routine reporting to the IT Senior Management TeamIdentify and escalate any early warning signs and devise effective plans to remedy the issues and get projects back on trackEnsure all projects follow standard documentation methodology and maintain a centralized Project Document RepositoryProvide governance and reporting to Senior Management on the status and health of all IT related projects while identifying any potential risks that can impact the project plan and provide resolution recommendationsWhat we are looking for from you:Certified PMP or other Project Management related degree or certificationMinimum 5 years of experience in Project ManagementExceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively present to various levels of the organizationSolid understanding of the Project Management methodology, processes and functions including scope, issues, risks, dependencies, financial and stakeholder managementExcellent time management skills with the ability to effectively manage conflicting priorities from various stakeholdersPrevious experience in managing and delivering complex multi-disciplinary IT projectsAbility to effectively frame, facilitate and resolve project issuesWhat’s in it for you:You’d be joining a close-knit, innovative team of creative and energetic go-gettersYou’d be a part of Canada’s largest full-service restaurant company that leads the industry in size and innovation20% associate discount dining card and monthly dining allowance valid at participating Recipe brandsA welcoming, fun and safe work environment founded on respectCareer advancement opportunities with a company that owns some of Canada’s most iconic restaurant brandsIndustry-leading benefits, wellness programs, and total rewards programsRecipe is committed to providing a diverse, equitable and inclusive workplace.
