Reporting to the Sr. Manager, Change Readiness, the Manager, Systems Training's primary focus will be to develop and maintain training materials for the Brands and Home Office teammates, develop and maintain a training roadmap for all Restaurant Systems, and act as the liaison for Brand Operations and Training teams with the Systems Project teams.What your week could look like:You will be using your variety of skills and knowledge on any given day of the week. From analyzing trends on service calls/tickets and creating an action plan to improve support provided to delivering regular webinars and training sessions as required. You will continue to build a Systems resource library as well as training new Managers, Franchisees and Home Office Teammates. You will be the Brand Teams’ direct liaison for training existing and new restaurant systems and will work directly with the Product Managers of the applications, which could possibly occur on evenings and/or weekends.What you will do in this role:Curate new and improve existing Systems Training Materials for use by the applicable audiencesDevelop continuous training for both reinforcement and refresher courses in addition to regular curriculum for new Managers and FranchiseesBuild and deliver systems training support for all parties via multiple methods i.e. webinars, classroom facilitation or content for our online learning platformWork with Product Manager and Brand Training leads on deployment of all new Restaurant System program launchesPerform regular analysis of service calls and tickets to identify trends and gaps in order to build action plans and training paths and successfully fill those gaps with the Service Desk and Brand Subject Matter Expert teamsAct as the primary support for Brand Subject Matter ExpertsWhat we are looking for from you:Facilitation experience in a variety of training environments i.e. classroom, virtual etc.Knowledge of RECIPE BrandsMinimum 2 years of Restaurant Operations Management experience, bonus points for experience in a RECIPE brandExcellent knowledge of Restaurant Operations & TrainingBonus points for excellent knowledge of current RECIPE restaurant systems (RMS, JARVIS, Micros)Proficient in Google Workspace (GMail, Google Sites, Docs, Sheets, Slides) and Microsoft OfficeBonus points for knowledge of adult learning principlesExcellent verbal and written communication skillsWillingness to learn innovative ideas that will influence the understanding and retention of the learner while challenging the status quoExceptional creativity and design skills to create and enhance training materialsExcellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple projects and meet tight deadlinesAbility to act professionally and adapt to specific audience needs i.e. Franchisees, Business Development Managers, Executive Team etc.Excellent organization, relationship building and influencing skillsPassionate and creative team player who loves designing and creating tools and transferring knowledge to othersWhat’s in it for you:You’d be joining a close-knit, innovative team of creative and energetic go-getters that are passionate about learning and educationYou’d be a part of Canada’s largest full-service restaurant company that leads the industry in size and innovation20% associate discount dining card and monthly dining allowance valid at participating Recipe brandsA welcoming, fun and safe work environment founded on respectCareer advancement opportunities with a company that owns some of Canada’s most iconic restaurant brandsIndustry-leading benefits, wellness programs, and total rewards programsRecipe is committed to providing a diverse, equitable and inclusive workplace.
