Job Type: PermanentPrimary Location: Vaughan, Ontario, CanadaAll Available Locations: VaughanBe encouraged to deepen your technical skills…whatever those may be.Be empowered to lead and have impact with clients, our communities and in the office.Be part of a firm that leads the way and pushes themselves to look like contemporary Canada.Deloitte seeks an experienced Proposal Specialist to support the business through the development, management and execution of strategic activities for our Cyber Security clients.What will your typical day look likeAs a Proposal Specialist, you will be developing and managing strategic proposals independently and/or supporting the Proposal Manager on large-scale proposals that address client requirements for Managed Security Services or cyber-related advisory opportunities. You will develop proposal templates in compliance with client requirements as well as internal branding guidelines, research and identify reusable content (e.g. proposal boilerplates) that the proposal team can leverage. You will provide guidance on proposal content and provide content editing support, compile and manage proposal master file(s) while ensuring strict version control, format proposals (including text and graphics) in compliance with client as well as internal branding guidelines. You will also provide quality assurance oversight to ensure proposal quality, compliancy, and completeness, manage proposal production, packaging, and coordination of delivery to ensure on-time completion of high quality proposals, coordinate support services, as required / as appropriate (e.g. graphics and desktop publishing services, print shop services, other administrative support, etc.). Throughout the proposal lifecycle, you will administer proposal support tools, including online workspaces and proposal team collaboration tools, leverage and share proposal knowledge and experience within the Cyber Intelligence Center and Deloitte’s wider Strategic Pursuit Centre team.About the teamAs cyber threats evolve and become more complex, many business leaders recognize they can’t manage the challenge alone. Our CICs provide fully customizable managed security solutions, including advanced security event monitoring, threat analytics, cyber threat management, and incident response, for local businesses to meet the increasing market demand in cybersecurity services.Enough about us, let’s talk about youYou are someone with:2-5 years of experience in proposal development, technical writing or related discipline with responsibility to define & document client requirements.Highly proficient in the use of MS Office, in particular MS Word and MS PowerPoint, proficient in the use of MS Excel, MS Project, Adobe Photoshop, Visio, WinZip, and PDF Writer.Excellent communication skills - written and verbal, must be able to work with practitioners with varying backgrounds, and at all levels of seniority.Highly detailed with exceptional organizational skills, highly self-motivated with a "can-do" attitude, and able to work well without supervision, excellent problem-solving skills, balanced by the judgment to raise issues and seek advice when required.Willing and able to work overtime (occasionally on short notice) and willing and able to travel in Canada (occasionally)A university degree or a combination of a related college diploma and experience.Why DeloitteLaunch your career with The One Firm where you can make an impact that matters in a way that you never thought possible.
