Job Description

BMB distributions is a major Canadian distributor of residential and commercial building materials specialised in flooring & wall covering as well as hardware products.We are currently looking to add to the team a new Shipper-Receiver Reach forklift driver – We are strategically positioned to handle all our customer needs. We are looking for Enthusiastic, Driven, Outside of the Box Thinkers to help us grow our business. In the role of Shipper/Receiver, you will be a key member for our team.Your role will be to pick, prepare and load purchased product on to the Company truck or load the customer’s truck. As the Shipper/Receiver/Forklift driver you will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement and storage of the product while at the facility.Responsibilities

  • You will be required to offload and put away product that is delivered to the branch. The warehouse houses all the inventory and is the heart of the branch.
  • You will manage and operate a lift truck/Reack truck inside the warehouse
  • You will make sure the warehouse be kept clean, organized and safe at all times for the efficient operation of the branch.
  • You will demonstrate excellent customer service and strong communication skills as you interact directly with customers.
  • Other various tasks in the warehouse
Prerequisite
  • 1 or more years of forklift and warehouse experience
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs manually
  • Fortklift License / Reach certificate
  • RF Scanner experience (asset)
  • General knowledge of building materials (asset)
  • must be able to work with a partner or work alone and in various weather conditions
