Job Description

Our major telecom client, Bell Canada, is looking for an experienced Data Analyst to work on large scale IT projects. The ideal candidate would have a minimum of 3 years experience in this field.Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with business analysts to understand the business requirements
  • Translate business requirements into technical ETL solutions
  • Support the current production versions and help investigate issues and identify root causes and get it fixed as soon as possible
Key Competencies and Experience:
  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems is an asset
  • Strong MS-Excel experience is required
  • Strong Python skills is required
  • Good problem solving and debugging skills
  • Experience in the development of complex data queries and processes using various tools and technologies
  • Experience in detailed data analysis
  • Experience in data presentations and visualizations
  • Experience in presenting data reports to management and executives
  • Experience with reading, writing, and editing SQL procedures
  • Experience with ETL development as a data analyst
  • Microstrategy tool experience is an asset
  • Background in a customer interfacing role
  • Experience with some of the following packages & tools: SAS, SQL, R, Matlab, Python, Microstrategy, Tableau, etc.
  • Bilingualism, French/English, considered an asset
