We work closely with internal and external stakeholders to develop and execute plans that help the company achieve its strategic objectives and ensure financial sustainability.The Financial Analyst will be an individual with a hands on approach to supporting finance systems and processes. This role is a resource that supports users in use of tools and assists the improvement and enhancement projects.You are a true team collaborator, with a track record of stakeholder management and you excel at working within a team, driving a shared vision. You recognize the big picture and demonstrate a passion for obtaining, using and transferring knowledge and best practices.Job Duties/Accountabilities:

  • Gain a thorough understanding of the tools in the support portfolio ( SAP-REFX, AA/PS/PM modules)
  • Provide support to the user community of tools
  • Partner with internal clients and finance teams to drive improvement opportunities, either from a system or process perspective
  • Collaborate effectively with IT to provide sound solutions to required system improvements
  • Provide analytical insight to answer questions from any level
  • Learn the solution landscape to be able to proactively ascertain changes to systems and resulting impact as well as identify potential risks and possible mitigations
  • Identify improvement opportunities
  • Perform other ad hoc analyses and special projects as needed
Critical Qualifications/Competencies:
  • Post- secondary degree Accounting, Business or Engineering
  • Experience with SAP solutions (S/4HANA, BW/BI, BPC) (Experience with SAP-REFX, AA/PS/PM modules is an asset )
  • Strong analytical and data mining skills, with an acute attention to detail
  • Able to prioritize, multitask and execute tasks in a high pressure environment
  • Ability to challenge the status quo and build better processes
  • Autonomous and disciplined self-starter
  • Strong organizational skills and able to manage rapidly changing priorities
  • Work and lead cross-functionally with successful end-to-end execution
  • Ability to work on multiple endeavors while consistently reassessing priorities
  • Ability to work in a complex environment with multiple stakeholders and subject matter experts
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communications skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively and maintain stakeholder relationships.
  • High tolerance to ambiguity and ability to adapt in a fast-evolving environment
  • Strong leadership abilities and business acumen
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office Suite: Microsoft Word, PowerPoint & Excel
