Several permanent part-time day and night positions (two days a week, including every other weekend) are available.As part of your duties, you will be called upon to :

  • Welcoming and accompanying clients during the psychiatric evaluation and during the treatment period;
  • Support the service providers in special circumstances;
  • Supervise and animate the users entrusted to you;
  • Participate in the identification of the users needs and provide observations through reports that are relevant to the continuation of treatment;
  • Participate in the intervention in times of crisis, disorganization or special needs;
  • Conduct searches on the client upon admission or at any other time when required;
  • Provide basic care to users, including hygiene and nutrition;
  • Assume tasks related to the supervision and safety of users.

  • Have a high school diploma (DVS) or equivalent recognized by the Ministry of Education ;
  • Have a valid class 5 drivers license;
  • Have a valid Private Security Office (PSO) license;
  • Pass a physical aptitude test;
  • Have knowledge of the psychiatric environment, an asset;
  • Have knowledge of the psychiatric environment, an asset;
  • Have a Police studies, an asset;
  • Have knowledge of institutional guards is an asset;
  • Have the ability to establish a therapeutic relationship with a French and English-speaking clientele (bilingualism);
  • Have training in security. Or, to complete these training courses offered by the employer within 30 days of starting work.
