We work closely with internal and external stakeholders to develop and execute plans that help the company achieve its strategic objectives and ensure financial sustainability.The Training Designer will be an individual with a hands on approach to multiple types of content development. This role focuses on designing online, video, and leader led training content for Finance and finance-led projects. As a result, the target audience may include employees in and outside of Finance.With your training design knowledge, you are responsible for designing and delivering outstanding creative work, which meets Bell standards and is delivered in a timely manner.This role is an internal creative resource that assists the project and finance teams in bringing the training content to life both visually and informatively.You are a true team collaborator, with a track record of stakeholder management and you excel at working within a team, driving a shared vision. We appreciate that you have previous experience in the field of Learning and Training. You recognize the big picture and demonstrate a passion for building training content and transferring knowledge and best practices.Job Duties/Accountabilities:

  • Collaborates and provides consultation with business partners and subject matter experts (SMEs) to analyze, design, develop, implement and evaluate training material and delivery, mainly on systems and processes
  • Develop content for instructor-led in-person and/or virtual classroom, user guides, e-learning, etc.
  • Design messaging with creativity and clarity, determining the most appropriate training vehicle, while prioritizing on the standard current tool: UPerform. Migration to any alternate tools may require investigation / introduction.
  • Drive collaborative success by engaging all levels of the business to a shared vision
  • Conduct needs/gap analysis in existing training materials for improved learning experiences
  • Ensure all training materials are clear, concise, consistent, and instructionally sound
  • Develop measurement and evaluation tools to test the effectiveness of the training developed
  • Effectively manage training projects and prioritization, including anticipating and escalating project issues appropriately as they develop
  • Lead Train-the-Trainer sessions as needed
Critical Qualifications/Competencies:
  • Knowledge of French is required to review translated documents.
  • Working knowledge of training, communication applications/tools; (UPerform++)
  • Accounting and Finance knowledge is considered a valuable asset
  • Solid MS Office Suite skills in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint & Excel
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to communicate effectively and maintain stakeholder relationships.
  • Experience with SAP solutions (S/4HANA, BW/BI, BPC)
  • Knowledge of instructional design techniques, with a particular emphasis on developing instructor-led training programs required
  • Exposure to fundamentals of Adult Learning, Organizational Development / Training and Development required
  • Strong reporting and analytical skills, and well as presentation skills
  • Ability to work on multiple endeavors while consistently reassessing priorities
  • Ability to work in a complex environment with multiple stakeholders and subject matter experts.
