Job Description

Vermilion Play Development is a non-profit charitable society that operates early learning and childcare programs in Vermilion, Alberta. Our programs are licensed and promote diversity among our employees.JobEarly Childhood Educator Level 2 or 3AvailabilityApplicants must be available to work various shifts between 8am and 6pm with children ages 12 months to 5 years.Qualifications

  • Display a love for children
  • Work well in a team environment
  • Must hold a Early Childhood Educator Certification level 2 or 3
  • Value an inclusive philosophy when working with children
  • Cleared: Criminal Record Check, Intervention Check
  • First Aid with CPR
  • Must be fully vaccinated from COVID19 to work at this sight.
Preferences
  • Knowledge of Learning Through Play philosophy
  • Familiar with Flight Albertas Early Learning and Care framework
  • Experience in Childcare environment working with younger children
  • Experience with administrative duties in the childcare environment
Must be available between 7:30am and 6:00pm Monday to FridayJob Type: Full-timeSalary: $17.64-$24.12 per hourBenefits:

Experience:
  • Childcare or Early Learning: 1 year (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
  • Childcare Certification Level 2 or 3 (preferred)
