Your Opportunity:Come join our amazing Central Zone Rural Team as a Manager for Vermilion Home Care. The Manager will be responsible for providing leadership to an interdisciplinary team of healthcare professionals dedicated to providing leading care to Albertans. Your leadership, direction and organization of this department will be in support of the vision, mission and business plan of AHS. You will be making key decisions and establishing and contributing to the achievements and goals of the Continuing Care portfolio. As the Manager, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong working relationships with key stakeholders, facilitating change management, promoting team development, teamwork and coordinating staffing and clinical work as identified by the Director.Description:The Home Care Manager collaborates with area leaders, regional programs and direct care providers to ensure that clients receive quality care in a safe, competent and ethical manner. The Care Manager is the liaison with regional departments, site and medical staff, external organizations and communities in order to coordinate and integrate client programs and services within the Home Care setting. The Care Manager provides leadership to the Home Care site in keeping with the policies and procedures outlined by Central Zone and Alberta Health Services.
