Job Description

Matrix is hiring a Wind Turbine Technician for a long-term project in Vermillion, Alberta.This project is an excellent opportunity for a skilled technician to take their career to the next level.This role will provide:

  • OT paid at 1.5 after 8 hours a day and on weekends.
  • LOA of $120/day if workers find their own accommodations, or $45/day if candidates stay in client-provided accommodations.
  • Flights will be provided as needed.
  • 14/7 rotation with an option to work 5/2.
Scope of Work:
  • Contributing to the construction, erection, and installation of wind turbines.
  • Use prior experience to streamline the process.
  • Participate in all work in an efficient and safe manner.
  • Abide all regional safety and environmental codes and policies.
  • The successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal, communication, organization, and computer skills.
  • You are an effective team player with a positive attitude, and you will support the Companys safety, quality, and environment programs.
Requirements:
  • 1-5 years of experience in Wind Turbine erection and installation.
