As part of our students’ clinical education, we strongly promote health and wellness education and services to the local community.The opportunity: This unique administrative position is an exciting opportunity for a career minded individual who is focused on exceptional customer service in their primary role of patient scheduling and customer service for the clinical department.Do you like working with people in a fast-paced environment If so, you will love working in our lively environment with our energetic and inclusive team at OVCMT.Typical days and hours: Monday – Thursday, Days (with 5th day possible, during limited peak times in the year)What we offer:

In this role you will:
  • Schedule patient appointments for the clinical program
  • Provide Internal and external customer service
  • Assist with coordination of all clinical programs

  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel is preferred
  • Minimum of High school diploma, and office administration education or relevant experience is preferred

  • 8 hour shift

COVID-19 considerations:Regular hand washing and sanitization is recommended. Sanitization stations are located throughout the building. All student therapists and supervisors wear masks while treating patients, masks are optional for the public, staff and faculty.Ability to commute/relocate:
  • Vernon, BC V1T 2E2: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
