Establish and maintain positive and respectful relationships with childcare providers, parents/families, and othercommunity agencies. Create welcoming and open drop in program environments for all participants. Provide information, workshops and referrals to child care programs, community programs, services, andresources utilizing exceptional customer service skills Assist families and childcare providers accessing Affordable Child Care Benefit. Works with communities to promote quality, inclusive child care services that meet the needs of families andpromote the healthy development of children. Maintains a strong connection to the Child Care community. This position requires the successful candidate to work as a part of a team to ensure the smooth operation of allprograms and events. Perform other related duties as required and be flexible to a changing work environment.Qualifications: Minimum two years post-secondary education related to early childhood and/or minimum three years’ experience ECE, Post-Basic Infant Toddler, Special Needs or School-Age Child Care certificates are considered assets Current First Aid or willingness to obtain Valid BC Driver’s License Successful completion of Agency Screening Process, including a criminal record check Knowledge of broader childcare field and community resources is an asset. An equivalent combination of education, training & experience may be considered.
