The GroundsGuys Okanagan located in Vernon BC is the areas largest landscape maintenance company. Our more than 30 employees help us manage over 100 grounds maintenance sites including City Parks, boulevards, beaches, sports facilities and the cemetery, in addition to private, institutional and commercial properties. No other company in the area covers a scope of work as wide as the GroundsGuys! • Perform landscape maintenance duties such as mowing, line trimming, spring & fall property clean-up.
• Other service duties include fertilizer application, weed control, aeration, seeding, trimming, and pruning.
• Operate a variety of mechanical equipment including but not limited to bed edgers, commercial ride on and push mowers, blowers, dump trailers, chainsaws, line trimmers.
• Perform landscape enhancement activities such as mulch application, plantings, topsoil application, lawn renovation and maintenance.
• Learn how to answer clients questions and respond to their comments and concerns.
• Learn how to perform equipment preventative maintenance and repair.
• Opportunities to become certified to apply fertilizer, pest control agents and other turf care products.

• Your Qualifications:
• Prefer High school diploma/GED (or current high school student status).
• Experience in this or a related field is helpful but not required, we will train people willing to learn.
• Valid Drivers License with clean record enhances advancement opportunities.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds to waist level and perform all other physical requirements.
