Job Description

VERNON TOYOTA is seeking an enthusiastic individual to fill the role of a Saturday RECEPTIONIST position. The Receptionist will report to the Accounting Manager as well as other Managers in the dealership.Essential Duties and Responsibilities include:· Greeting and assisting customers by referring them to the appropriate individuals or departments· Answering calls on a 6-line phone system and transferring or taking messages for staff members· Cash balancing and posting· Receiving inventory· Sending and receiving mail and courier packages· Basic office tasks such as filing, emails, ordering office supplies· Plus, other general office and reception dutiesThe successful candidates must be friendly, outgoing, have strong communication skills, be detail oriented and be able to work both independently and as a team player. Knowledge of Microsoft Word & Excel and handling a multi-line phone system is required. Basic accounting knowledge and previous experience in the automotive industry is not required but would be considered an asset.
