Job Description

Located just outside Vernon, British Columbia’s beautiful Okanagan Valley, The Outback Lakeside Vacation Homes is looking for a Vacation Home Attendant to carry out allocated cleaning duties achieving standards of cleanliness and presentation as established by the Resort, and uphold the confidentiality and security of all guest rooms at all times. He/she shall also provide exceptional guest services in accordance to the Resorts core values, mission, standards and policies. In addition, the position will also be accountable for a multitude of functions, including but not limited to:

  • Clean vacation homes as allocated achieving high standards of cleanliness and presentation at all times
  • Accountability of home inventory and inspection checklists
  • Organizing and maintaining linen inventory
  • Responsible for the safety and security of guests’ belongings upon entering/leaving an occupied room and lost & found items.
  • Comply with safety and security procedures at all times and in accordance with WCB Regulations
  • Use and store correctly, all cleaning agents, materials, equipment and chemicals in line with health and safety regulations and manufacturer’s instructions
  • Maintain standards of punctuality, uniform/dress code as appropriate to position and personal hygiene
The successful candidate must possess the following attributes and qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent education preferred
  • Command of the English language both written and verbal
  • Punctual, reliable, flexible
  • Ability to lift medium to heavy objects (frequent pulling, pushing, reaching and bending is required)
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in order to handle a fast paced environment
Competitive Wages Offered.
