Job Description

Position: Warehouse AssociateSundial Lighting is a family owned, Retail Lighting Showroom based in Vernon, BC. We embrace the future of Retail by encouraging the Okanagan to Shop Online. Shop Local. Now with 2 locations, our Vernon showroom boasts the largest selection of residential lighting in the North Okanagan; and our Penticton Showroom is the latest addition to our growing brand. We deliver exceptional customer service and lighting expertise to home builders, designers, and residential lighting customers. We strive to offer our customers the latest style and quality brands in the lighting industry, both in person and online.Description of Warehouse Associate Role:This position is a warehouse associate who will be able to receive orders, maintain organization protocols, hang and price display and provide exceptional customer service including after sales support. The role should help maintain inventory expectations and management, delivery to onsite orders, and work well with the rest of the sales and warehouse team. Qualified candidate should expect regular ladder work and stair climbing as part of the day to day expectations. Driving deliveries is also part of this role and a valid driver’s license is a must.Main Responsibilities:

  • Receive inventory following detailed protocols
  • Hang and price fixtures
  • Inventory Counting
  • Maintain and create in store displays
  • Learn Product knowledge to Help customers with sales of light bulbs and other products
  • Drive deliveries to final location when needed
The above is not an exhaustive list of duties and you will be expected to perform different tasks as necessitated by your changing role within the organization and the overall business objectives of the organizationRegular Deliverables/ Meetings:
  • Regular return and defectives reporting (TBD)
  • One-hour monthly staff meeting, second week of every month (TBD)
  • Regular Inventory stock take reports(TBD)
Schedule:Open Monday-Saturday 8:30-5:00. 32-40 hours per week.
