And we live it too.THE ROLEThe Arena Operator and Facility Maintainer plays an important role, providing quality services and facilities to our military members, their families and the community.Imagine spending time with a great group of people and sharing your passions. Each day will be different as you support the day-to-day operations of the Arena and the sports fields. You will drive the Zamboni, maintaining optimal ice conditions, and prepare and line the baseball fields and other sport fields.We are looking for dynamic, independent and motivated individuals to join our team.QUALIFICATIONS NEEDEDEducation, Certifications and LicensesAn acceptable combination of education, training, and/or experience will be considered.Current CPR and Standard First Aid certification.Valid Driver’s Licence (BC).Recreation Facilities Association Certified Ice Technician (BC).ExperienceIn operating and maintaining ice rink and outdoor sports facilities equipment.In resource administration.Competencies, Skills and AbilitiesClient focus, organizational knowledge, communication, innovation, teamwork and leadership.
