This is a challenging and very rewarding position as you would be on the frontline helping our clients achieve success. This means that your work results in extremely powerful positive change for communities that are suffering. The role is in-office in Victoria, BC with a typical working shift from 7:00am to 3:30pm. There may be the need for an occasional prompt online response outside of these hours and an occasional early evening meeting online with clients.RequirementsWho You AreYou are analytical, confident with numbersamp; Microsoft Excel and pay attention to detail. The skills you’ll develop will also serve you well in other roles throughout your life. Like other disciplines, you will learn in stages, combining theory, practice and apprenticeship. You will start out as a trainee and progress through junior, intermediate and senior-level designations. Your responsibilities will grow as your skill level grows and as you gain more experience with customer engagement. The skills you will learn fall into the following categories:Long-range Financial Forecasting Specialist: work with a variety of datasets (financial, infrastructure, utility billing) to build and calibrate models, looking for patterns and discrepancies. Learn the art of approximating to build realistic long-range scenarios and calibrate utility revenues to balance affordability with sustainability.Stakeholder Alignment Specialist: work with senior local government officials to help them overcome roadblocks, and make tough, smart decisions efficiently. You’ll do this through the art of storytelling and facilitating conversations. Using our platform’s powerful visual techniques and interactive scenario exploration capabilities, you’ll help stakeholders understand the Math in Motion.Relationship Management: Learn to build rapport, gain credibility, respect and trust from our clients.
