OCG’s strategic objectives include setting the strategic direction for government’s financial management functions including frameworks, systems and people and ensuring an effective corporate governance framework that supports the delivery of government programs and ensures accountability. The OCG consists of 6 branches – Financial Management Branch, Corporate Accounting Services, Corporate, Compliance Controls and Monitoring Branch, Internal Audit and Advisory Services, Financial Reporting and Advisory Services and Divisional Operations. Reporting to the Manager, Corporate Operations Branch, the Administrative Assistant works under limited direction providing the primary administrative and operational support for the Division. Support services includes, but is not limited to, screening incoming telephone calls, receiving and screening visitors, providing executive support to OCG executive including proofing and formatting reports and communications, collating documents, maintain and ordering office supplies, and assistance with records organization and management. Job Requirements:Secondary school graduation or equivalent. Minimum of 6 months administrative/clerical/secretarial experience in an office environment.Preference may be given to applicants with:Training or experience in basic accounting or bookkeeping.
