Learn more about British Columbia #39;s new provincial initiative for Internationally Educated Nurses!Current College of Physicians of BC (CPSBC) License Full Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA) Mandatory Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of Canada (FRCPC) Mandatory Role and Facility InformationThis is a newly created position for a Dermatologist to work with the Oncologists to set up Dermatology services at the BC Cancer - Victoria. They will also work with the University of British Columbia to teach medical students and residents.There will be opportunities for the candidate to join a local private practice for 1 -2 days a week.The duties will include but not be limited to:Organize and run Melanoma New Patient Clinics.Organize and run Dysplastic Nevus Clinics.Organize and run Clinic for Complicated non-melanoma skin cancers.Organize and run Cutaneous T Cell Lymphoma Clinic.Work with Medical Oncologists to see follow-up high risk melanoma patients.Assess all Oncology consultations for patients at BC Cancer - Victoria with Dermatology needs.Attend monthly Dermatology Rounds with dermatologists and dermatopathologists.Teach Medical Students and Residents.Part-Time (0.6 FTE)Position is with the BC Cancer - VictoriaCommunity Information:The Westshore encompasses the communities of Langford, Colwood, Metchosin, the Highlands, Esquimalt/View Royal and the Juan the Fuca Coast, in addition to the First Nations of Esquimalt, Songhees, and Scia’new.
