We #39;re a passionate group of people who love collaborating on innovative and challenging projects.About this roleWe are recruiting for a Junior Project Manager/Estimator to join our Service division in our Victoria office.Here #39;s how your role will strengthen our team.Your responsibilities

  • Coordinate aspects of the construction process, including RFI #39;s, procurement, scheduling, commissioning, O amp;M manuals.
  • Coordinate project communications with internal and external stakeholders.
  • With support from management, develop project schedules, review contracts, estimate changes, purchase materials and equipment and manage the project financial performance.
  • Develop / assemble start-up submittals and other project documentation.
  • You may also engage with contractors, engineers, architects and vendors.
  • Work with foreman and site superintendents to review the project documents and discuss labour requirements and staffing.
  • Work with the Safety Manager, on-site team to ensure safety on site is our #1 priority.
Your experience and skills
  • 1+ years of previous project manager or estimating experience in a related industry. Will also consider those with project coordinating experience
  • Basic understanding of contract law, project management and estimating
  • Electrician TQ, Electrical engineering degree, diploma, or other relevant education a strong asset
  • Proficient in MS Office. Experience with AutoCAD, Accubid, MS Project, are an asset
  • You must be a team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Good organizational skills

Salary Range: $70,000-$80,000 per year plus a competitive total compensation package. Actual salary will be commensurate with experience, skills and overall match to the position offered.
