Job Description

Estate Planning, Estate Administration, and Estate Litigation Lawyer, will consider Corporate Lawyers (Victoria, BC or willing to relocate)Position: Estate Planning, Estate Administration, Planning and Litigation LawyerExperience Required: Minimum 5 years of callBook of Business: Helpful but not requiredAbout the firm:We are assisting power candidates for a well-established law firm in Victoria, BC, dedicated to providing comprehensive legal services in estate planning, estate administration, and estate litigation. Our team is committed to delivering exceptional service to our clients and fostering a collaborative and inclusive work environment.Job Overview:We are seeking an experienced lawyer with a strong background in estate planning, estate administration, and estate litigation. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years of call, be based in Victoria, and possess a proven track record of delivering high-quality legal services. Experience in corporate law is also considered an asset.Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert legal advice and services in estate planning, including drafting wills, trusts, and other estate documents.
  • Manage estate administration processes, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and client wishes.
  • Represent clients in estate litigation matters, including will contests, trust disputes, and fiduciary claims.
  • Offer strategic legal guidance to clients on complex estate issues.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and support staff to deliver comprehensive legal solutions.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and industry trends.
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships through excellent communication and service.
  • If applicable, contribute to the firm #39;s corporate law practice by advising on corporate governance, mergers and acquisitions, and other related matters.
Qualifications:
  • A minimum of five years of call to the bar in British Columbia.
  • Extensive experience in estate planning, estate administration, and estate litigation.
  • Strong legal research, analytical, and drafting skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple clients and cases efficiently.
  • High ethical standards and professionalism.
  • A book of business is helpful but not required.
  • Must reside in Victoria, BC.
