Job Description

An experienced Service Manager is needed at a busy Collision Center in Victoria, British Columbia. COMPENSATION

SCHEDULEDay shift; Monday to Friday; 7:30 am to 3:30 pm.Flexibility to accommodate overtime and infrequent travel within the province.OVERVIEWCandidates who excel in this role must have a minimum of 5 years of industry experience, ability tto lead their modern facilities with state-of-the-art equipmentamp; tools, while being in charge of automotive estimating contributing towards supportive and collaborative teamwork. be a proficient user of the estimating software: Mitchel Connect or Audatex with outstanding administration, logistical, and organizational skills. Knowledge of Vehicle Shop Management, best practices, and car service standards are vital to success in this role. QUALIFICATIONS·Manage the shop and provide leadership to the shop personnel·Prepare estimates utilizing Mitchell Connect and/or Audatex·Provide customer service, manage clients’ inquiries, and resolve complaints·Ensure quality control and perform follow-ups as necessary·Manage ordering of parts and coordinating logistics with suppliers and vendors·Manage staff schedules, maintain employee attendance records·Oversee and maintain inventory of equipment and supplies·Monitor cash and cheque transactions·Prepare reports and provide statistical information·Current Class 5 Driver’s License and a Clean Abstract
