The Leader supervises and actively engages with the children and collaborates with other staff to ensure the Before and After School Program runs safely and smoothly. The B&A Leader also collaborates with parents and caregivers as needed. We believe that organizational culture is the most important factor and we work hard to make sure it is top-notch and suited for everyone.Responsibilities.- Plan and provide daily holistic experiences and programming that support and promote each childs physical, emotional, social, communicative, cognitive, and creative skills.- Organize an open-ended environment where there is opportunity for creativity and exploration.- Plan and incorporate activities that are inclusive and accommodate all ability and medical complexities.- Protect and promote the psychological and physical safety, health and well-being of each child being cared for.- Implement interventions and strategies to support observed and documented behaviors.- Spend time one-on-one with the children to develop a sincere, meaningful, trustful and loving relationship with each child.- Actively collaborate with each member of Hopes Home team and provide support, and training and development as needed.- Collaborate with outside agencies, and community services.Shifts: Monday to Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., 8 hour shifts on PD days.Location: Warman Early Learning & Childcare CentreNumber of Positions Available: 5Job Type: CasualSalary: From $14.55 per hourSchedule:
