Job Description

Techmation Electric & Controls Ltd is currently seeking experienced Instrumentation Journeyman & Apprentices for field maintenance in the Estevan area. Candidates must have strong instrumentation maintenance experience working within the Oil & Gas sector. Preference will be given to those located in the Estevan area, however we will accept candidates willing to permanently relocate to the immediate area.Techmation works on a variety of industrial oil and gas maintenance projects throughout Western Canada. As a successful applicant, you will have the opportunity to work on full-time, long-term maintenance projects with well-established and reputable clients.Requirements:

  • Journeyman Instrumentation certificate, OR
  • Registered Instrumentation Apprentice (3rd or 4th year)
  • Must have previous troubleshooting and instrumentation maintenance experience working within Industrial Oil & Gas facilities
  • At least 3 years of instrumentation experience on Industrial construction and maintenance projects would be considered an asset
  • Candidates must have valid Energy Safety Canada H2S Alive & Fall Protection, Standard First Aid (Level A or C with CPR/AED), CSTS 2020 and Driving & Journey Management certificates
  • Valid Class 5 drivers’ license and reliable transportation
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
