For over three decades, Warman Homes has been building both Ready to Move (RTM) Homes and On Site Built Homes. Warman Homes is a trusted builder who was, and remains, instrumental to the growth of our city.We are accepting applications for the position of Draftsperson in efforts to grow our team. The successful applicant will work as part of our Drafting department creating and designing beautiful homes and renovation projects.Responsibilities will include:- Custom home design – from preliminary design work to full construction drawings- 3D Modelling for website, advertising, and custom renovation work- Custom cabinet layouts- Structural floor design and layouts- Working with an engineer to provide notes and create details when required- Energy code compliance on all projectsQualifications:- Diploma from a recognized Architectural Program- 1-3 years min. related experience in residential design or construction industry- Experience with 3D CAD software to create both interior and exterior models- Experience with structural design and engineering programs an asset but not required- Attention to detail with ability to problem solve- Excellent communication and organizational skills- Ability to work independently and as part of a teamWe offer on the job training, competitive wages, advancement opportunities, group benefits, company matched pension plan, on site fitness facility, and an employee product discount.If this career opportunity is of interest to you and you want to be part of our team, please submit your resume and cover letter to the attention of Charity U., Drafting Manager.
