Job Description

Warman Truss has been a reputable business in the heart of Warman since 1984 and is one of the Warman Home Centre LP group of companies. Warman Home Centre LP’s passion has been the building industry and the people within it. Our mission is to continue to grow our business while sharing our passion, enhancing surrounding communities that will last a lifetime.We are looking to add to our team of experienced Truss Designers/Sales Reps. The selected individual will need to be highly motivated with a strong work ethic, a knowledge of the wood construction industry and sales experience.Responsibilities:

  • Design Residential, Commercial and Ag. roof and floor systems using Alpine design software.
  • Prepare shop drawings for engineer review, truss layouts and job site information packages.
  • Provide customer service and design solutions to our dealer network and their customers.
  • Produce quotes for roof systems, floor systems and EWP.
Requirements & Qualifications:
  • Minimum 2 years experience in Roof Truss, Floor Truss and EWP Design.
  • Previous experience with MiTek or Alpine design software. (Alpine preferred)
  • Proficient in the use of CAD Software, Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
  • Exceptional customer service, multi-tasking and communication skills.
  • An understanding of building code requirements for roof and floor design.
