Job Description

CNTNR Modular Building Solutions (www.cntnr.ca)CNTNR Modular Building Solutions is an innovative modular manufacturing company that is challenging the status quo of the construction industry. We have pioneered a manufacturing process using repurposed steel shipping containers, prefabricated into modular building blocks and assembled on-site to create container-based structures. The result: eco-friendly, structurally superior buildings in half the time of traditional building processes that are also beautiful, functional, and modern. Our projects encompass single and multi-family residential design, as well as commercial and institutional projects.With a product this spectacular we need a team equal to it. If you have the skills and drive to be part of the next generation of construction, apply today.Duties include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Regularly disinfect high touch point areas such as door handles, handrails, office spaces, etc.
  • Clean mirrors, windows, and glass surfaces avoiding streaks and marks to give all employees a clean and aesthetically pleasing work environment
  • Control dust and dirt in high traffic areas by sweeping, vacuuming, and mopping. (Includes safe operation of an industrial sweeper.)
  • Provide daily disinfections of tools and workspaces
  • Maintain cleaning supply inventory, notifying the Procurement Manager of supplies and quantities needed
  • Mop the office, locker room, and washroom floors with appropriate cleaning solutions to mitigate slip, trip, and fall hazards
  • Use proper PPE and signage to protect against potential hazards in order to keep yourself and teammates safe
  • Sanitize and disinfect kitchen and dining areas in order to reduce the chance of bacterial and viral transmission between employees, their food, and teammates
  • Regularly dispose of garbage, recycling, and compost in appropriately identified bins, making sure all bins are sorted and in compliance with Niagara Region Waste Collection Standards
  • Other duties as required
*Qualifications: *
  • Experience in a commercial cleaning role
  • Ability to complete tasks to standard and on time with little to no direct supervision
  • Ability to work on your feet for prolonged hours in a labour focused environment
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for travel to office and facility (within Welland)
  • Knowledge of current COVID-19 disinfection protocol is considered an asset
  • Organized, detail and task oriented
  • Dedicated to working in and promoting a safe and sanitary work environment
  • Previous experience working in an industrial setting is considered an asset
*Additional Information: *
  • Part Time; currently 15-20 hours per week, may increase to full time in 2-4 months
  • Work schedule is somewhat flexible, but must be performed during opening hours: 7 am to 5 Pm, Monday to Friday
  • Start Date: As Soon as Possible
  • Start Location: Welland, Ontario
