Job Description

Here at Primus Workforce, we provide safety-minded, experienced personnel support throughout the oilamp; gas, construction and technical trades sectors to our client #39;s long-term and short-term contingency needs. We are a growing and dynamic company to work with providing you with the key to your future success.We are currently searching for Carpenter #39;s Helpers - Out of town - ongoing project - Accommodation provided. Responsibilities:

  • Understand the specified requirements of the client and work accordingly.
  • Read construction layouts and blueprints to plan work processes.
  • Utilize framing or finish carpentry experience.
  • Provide training, mentorship, and support for Apprentices as required.
  • Ensure adherence to maintenance standards and codes.
  • Assist with a variety of work scopes required for maintenance tasks and projects, including groundwork, elevations, and ground compaction for barrel placements.
  • Undertake any other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Valid Class 5 Driver’s License is required.
  • CSTS
  • High School Diploma preferred.
  • Previous Renovations Experience an asset.
  • 2 years’ experience in a similar role.
  • Previous oil and construction industry experience preferred.
  • Ability to pass a comprehensive Drug, Alcohol, and Physical Demand Assessment
  • Ability to stand, crouch and kneel for long periods of time.
  • Manual dexterity.
  • Balance for working on scaffolding.
  • Strong mathematical, scientific, mechanical, and logical reasoning abilities.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a work team.
  • Fluent in spoken, written, and reading English.
