PURPOSE OF POSITION· The purpose of this position is to promote and sell the Company’s full Parts and related Supplies product lineRESPONSIBILITIES OF POSITION· Responds to front line customer visits or telephone, fax, on-line requests, relative to all parts and supplies inquiries· Provides customers with prompt and courteous service, quoting prices or obtaining quotes as necessary; answers any concerns or questions, ranging from technical aspects to delivery dates· Handles cash/card transactions; prepares relative invoices; effects data input; directing documentation/records to the appropriate area· Requisitions non-inventory parts as required; raises relative purchase orders; ensures proper follow-up on all promised delivery dates· Provides Service Technicians with parts, as necessary, ensuring the provision for appropriate records; order shop supplies, as requested by Service department· Maintains inventory levels in accordance with Company guidelines; spot-checks actual inventory to computer records; performs/participates in physical counts· Ensures parts facilities/displays are maintained in an clean orderly fashion and items clearly identified; maintains work areas in a similar clean and orderly manner· Reviews factory bulletins and other information to remain updated on any pertinent changes; ensures reference manuals/parts guides are updated and customers supplied with any necessary information· Conveys a professional presence at all times, tactfully accommodating specific needs and ongoing satisfactory customer relationships· Adheres to all Company policies and procedures, specifically Health and Safety rules and regulationsPOSITION REQUIREMENTS· Prior general sales experience, preferably in parts distribution· Ambitious, goal oriented, with the interpersonal skills to accommodate sales objectives· Knowledge of major spread sheet / computer applicationsJob Types: Full-time, PermanentBenefits:
