Job Description

We are expanding!Big O Tires West Kelowna is looking for energetic, qualified, high performing Apprentice Technicians to join our dynamic team! We offer the right candidate a career with a great team environment.ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

  • Document all repairs and services performed on vehicle in a clear manner.
  • Install, balance, and repair tires for passenger cars and commercial vehicles
  • Perform additional requests on all vehicles that come into the shop.
  • Assist technicians in daily work requirements.
  • Road test all vehicles before and after servicing.
  • Notify Advisor of additional repairs, parts and labour to the customer.
  • Maintain general cleanliness in the shop.
  • Additional duties as requested by manager

This is a full-time position. The working hours are 8 am to 4:30 pm. Technician shift rotation does require working some Saturdays. Compensation will depend on skills and previous experience.Work remotely

Experience:
  • Automotive Technician: 1 year (preferred)
  • mechanic: 1 year (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
  • Drivers License (required)
  • Journeyman (preferred)
