Through over 500 professionals in 17 offices, CapriCMW offers a wide range of expertise spanning a multitude of industries, products and services.Job SummaryAn Employee Benefits Coordinator is a confident client service representative with exceptional organizational, client service and communication skills. Responsibilities include assisting CapriCMW’s Group Benefits team to provide exceptional client service by delivering on professional interactions, accurate proposals and continuously improving client relationships.Essential Job Functions:

  • Respond to client inquires via phone or email in a timely and professional manner
  • Build relationships with clients so you are the first call for and benefits related questions
  • Gather, analyze and process client data to present marketing, renewal and prospecting proposals for producers
  • Build relationships with insurance service reps to foster quick responses to client concerns
  • Maintain client contact and benefit plan information updated in the current CRM
  • Uncover process improvement opportunities to provide a better service to the clients
  • Produce highly efficient proposals for prospects, enrollments and renewals
  • Document processes and work with internal & external associates to ensure consistent format and content
  • Identify trends in client interactions and advise producer
  • Identify, troubleshoot and resolve system related or client enquiry related issues
  • Attend training sessions to build knowledge of industry topics and trends
Qualifications and Soft Skill Requirements:
  • Demonstrated experience working with Indigenous Peoples (First Nations, Metis and Inuit). communities and organizations,
  • knowledge of Indigenous peoples’ demographics, languages, cultures, customs and traditions
  • Supports a climate in which teams want to do their best
  • Service-oriented mindset and responsive to client inquiries
  • Articulate, professional in verbal and written communication
  • Adaptable to working effectively as a team or independently with the ability to adjust to changing priorities
  • Confident with different levels of people, intuitive, assertive, and shares new ideas
  • Analytical and solution oriented
  • Ability to maximize efficiencies by leveraging technology, tools and resources
  • Self-guided learner with a willingness to learn new tasks & solves problems with real solutions
  • Skilled user of Microsoft office – Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher
  • Post-secondary education and additional courses in benefit plans (such as CEBS) or equivalent work experience.
