Employment Type: CasualLocation: Kelowna General HospitalDepartment: KGH HousekeepingReports to: Manager or DelegateHours of Work: Rotating Days, Evenings, and NightsKelowna General Hospital is looking for Casual Cleaners to join their team!As a Casual Cleaner, youre responsible for maintaining clean and sanitary conditions in areas such as patient rooms, washrooms, corridors, hallways, and common areas, including floors, stairways, walls, windows, ceilings, sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, mopping, spot washing and wet washing. You will clean and disinfect washrooms, strip and make beds, and take care of soiled laundry and linens. Additionally, the Cleaner is in charge of cleaning the Nursing area and isolation rooms, including washing of furniture by vacuuming, shampooing, and brushing, and all other related duties as assigned.This is a casual opportunity, casual meaning that there are no guaranteed hours and work requirements can vary from 0 - 37.5 hours per week.Due to the pandemic, there are opportunities to pick up shifts if candidates desire to work closer to full-time hours.
