Job Description

Under New Management - Come and join The Cove Lakeside Resort Team located in West Kelowna, British Columbia’s beautiful Okanagan Valley. The Pool Attendant is responsible for overseeing the outdoor pool area to ensure an enjoyable and safe experience for all guests and owners.Responsibilities:

  • Monitors number of guests in outdoor pool and sets capacity due to COVID-19 spacing requirements. Must be comfortable speaking with guests and asking them to leave pool area due to restriction on number of guests at one time.
  • Ensures social distancing is adhered to at all times.
  • Sanitizes pool furniture between guests using proper COVID-19 protocols.
  • Monitor the pool restrooms to ensure they remain neat and clean.
  • Manages pool towel stocking.
  • Inspects facilities for cleanliness; completes general pool cleaning and maintenance duties.
  • Follows emergency action plan and procedures established in the event of an emergency.
  • Maintains order in the pool and adjoining areas.
  • Provides general information on resort & pool operation to guests.
  • Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Requirements:
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to evaluate and solve problems accurately and efficiently.
  • Able to multi-task
  • Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 30 pounds without assistance.
  • Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
  • Ability to work flexible schedule
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision.
