Under New Management - Come and join The Cove Lakeside Resorts Team! Located in West Kelowna, British Columbia’s beautiful Okanagan Valley. As first impressions really are everything The Cove Lakeside Resort is looking for Room Attendants who have a passion to provide our guests with exceptional standards of cleanliness and service.This is a seasonal position starting in June 2021 and ending in approximately September 2021. Start and end dates may change based on the needs of the business and with the possibility of extension.Responsibilities:Strip vacant guest rooms of bedding, towels, garbage etc.Clean guest rooms as allocated achieving exceptional standards of cleanliness and presentation at all timesReplenish room supplies including toiletries, linen and terry in an efficient and cost-effective mannerInspect condition of all room furnishings, draperies, hotel provided kitchen house wares and supplies including, coffee makers, dishes, cutlery, etc.Report all damages and/or require maintenanceReport all lost and found following Resort proceduresReturn and restock carts at the end of shiftCarryout deep cleaning as requiredProvide guests with exceptional customer services when addressing questions, concerns or complaintsStrict adherence to COVID-19 protocols and standards of serviceComply with the Resort policies, procedures and standard operating procedures (SOP)Perform duties of House Attendant as required.Perform other job duties as directedAttributes and Qualifications:Works well under pressure, can multi-task and is able to prioritizePossess a keen eye for detailSelf-starter, with time management and organizational skillsExcellent communication skills (verbal and written)Knowledge of WHIMS and chemical useFlexible, efficient and punctualAble to work independently, or team environmentAble to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 30 pounds without assistanceAble to reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stoopingStand, sit, or walk for an extended period of timeMust be legally entitled to work in CanadaApplicants must been willing to work weekendsWage: $17.00 per hour plus summer incentive bonus.We thank all interested candidates for their application; only those selected for an interview will be contacted.
