Are you ready to design your futureBe our next CAD Technician!Your work environment at EXPIn this role, you will join the Municipal Infrastructure and Land Development group, based in the Ottawa office.What a day at EXP has in store for youPrepare preliminary and detailed CAD drawings associated with the Municipal Infrastructure and Land Development projectsCoordinate project drawings with designers, project managers, CAD staff, and othersEnsure that the projects #39; needs are met in a timely and effective mannerWork under the direction of Senior Staff and mentor junior CAD staff working within the divisionWhat your experience looks likeCertified Engineering Technologist (C.E.T.) or Civil Technician with 5 - 7 years of relevant experience, preferably from a consulting engineering office environment in OntarioStrong computer software skills in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Micro station Wordamp; ExcelFamiliarity with various Municipal and regional design and drafting standardsExperience in preliminary and detailed design drawing preparation associated with Municipal Infrastructure Land Development projectsIndependent, Organized, and Motivated Team player with excellent oral and written communication skillsAbility to prioritize multiple responsibilities and projects in a fast-paced turnaround environment
