In turn, we offer an award-winning environment that fosters a people-first culture with a high priority on your personal and professional growth.Your OpportunityBDO Canada is seeking a Co-op or Intern to work closely with the Executive Leadership Team.  In this exciting new role, you will report directly to the Chief of Staff and collaborate closely with our CEO. You will support with the execution of strategic and operational initiatives across the firm and have the opportunity to make a significant impact on key organizational duties alongside a team of strong executive leaders.  This opportunity is available for the winter term from January to April or August 2024 to support on the following responsibilities:

  • Support the Chief of Staff and CEO on the execution of strategy
  • Efficiently utilize technical knowledge from courses to carry out work projects and assignments
  • Support the project management of special projects on behalf of the CEO
  • Champion the delivery of key projects by providing monitoring and support
  • Support with creating and delivering business information that drives others to action by presenting it in a clear and compelling way
  • Contribute to creating high impact presentations, as well as firm-wide communications to support agendas and initiatives including ELT and Board presentations
  • Support preparing business performance summaries on a recurring basis,
  • Review and analyze data to support with strategic decision-making across the firm
  • Develop trusting relationships across BDO #39;s diverse teams of business service professionals
  • Coordinate and attend internal and external meetings as required

Your experience and education
  • You are currently working towards or have completed a degree or MBA focused in Business Administration, Commerce, Economics, or other relevant programs
  • You have proven leadership skills and can take initiative
  • You have an innovative and progressive mindset coupled with high learning agility
  • You are detail-oriented, anticipatory, organized, and able to manage projects independently in a fast-paced environment
  • You are passionate about learning and exploring new ideas, opportunities, and challenges
  • You display strong problem solving, analytical, and communication skills.
