The position is on the photonic design team responsible for development of optical technologies and the associated HWamp; SW for Viavi #39;s fiberoptic lightwave test systems. The student will have opportunities to take part in the development of new, state-of-the-art products, help to make design decisions, and work with cutting edge technology in the fiber optics industry.The successful candidate will have an excellent mix of abilities including good interpersonal skills, excellent team player, strong hands-on lab skills (or a desire for them!), programmingamp; lab automation underscored by a strong work ethic.We are looking to train and invest in a diligentamp; committed student who is willing to#39;fit #39; and adapt to a variety of tasks.
