Job Description

Smiles On Souris in Weyburn, SK is looking for a full-time Associate Dentist. Our team is dedicated to providing personalized treatment plans that meet the unique needs of each patient. Our clinic offers a wide range of dental procedure, including, Invisalign, TMJ disorders, dental implants (surgery and prosthetic), cosmetic treatment and much more. We use advanced dental technology, such as digital X-rays, intraoral camera, CT scanner (in my Regina office but available for Weyburn patients) to ensure efficient, high-quality dental care. We are committed to utilizing the latest technology in dental care. We strive to create a welcoming and comfortable environment for our patients, and we are always available to provide emergency dental care when needed. Continuing education is a large part of our team’s development. You will have the opportunity to learn from leading clinicians, further enabling you to offer a large range of dental services to our patients.Responsibilities

  • Provide dental examination, diagnosis, intervention, and management of the full spectrum of dental conditions of the oral-facial complex and anatomical structures.
  • Manage overall / general oral health needs, including but not limited to disease prevention and patient education.
  • Develop care plans with the patient as well as the larger, multi-disciplinary health care team to address patient’s oral health care.
  • Perform therapeutic procedures in fixed and removable prosthodontics, operative dentistry, oral surgery, endodontics, periodontics, preventative dentistry, orthodontics, and orofacial pain management.
  • Provide administrative support, specialist referrals, and maintenance of patient records.
Qualifications
  • Must possess a Doctoral Degree in Dental Surgery or Dental Medicine from an accredited Canadian or American dental school.
  • Must be licensed in Good Standing to practice as a Dentist with the College of Dental Surgeons of Saskatchewan.
  • Must have CPR.

Applicants will possess:
  • Graduate from an accredited DDS/DMD Program or successful completion of the National Dental Examining
Board of Canada (NDEB) Equivalency Process
  • Registered and in good standing with provincial licensing requirements
  • Valid CPR certification
