For more information, please visit www.thermofisher.com.What will you doEnsures all labs, offices, washrooms and cafeteria are cleaned and maintained in immaculate condition at all times.Responsibilities:Performs daily cleaning of labs, washrooms, offices, hallways, and cafeteria areas of the facility. Performs waste disposal and recycling services.Daily upkeeps of general areas including dusting, window cleaning, polishing of fixtures and brass, along with managing customer requests for cleaning, waste disposal, moving, replacement of lights, and other miscellaneous facility requests in a timely manner.Manages and completes facility projects such as stripping and waxing floors, cleaning of air diffusers and exhaust grills, etc.Maintains exterior of the building including removing of debris, sweeping of walkways, snow removal and salting of walkways during the winter season, and cleaning of the smoking area.Ensures regular replenishing of all facility dispensers including paper, soap, and production garments.Maintains the inventory of all cleaning and maintenance supplies.How will you get thereRequirements:Minimum high school graduateMinimum 2 years experience in a cleaning or maintenance roleSelf-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.Good interpersonal and communication skills (both oral and written).In this role, it is essential to perform shift work.Team Player.Proficiency in the English language.Experience in a pharmaceutical or food processing environment, Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices and Attention to detail are assets.At Thermo Fisher Scientific, each one of our 90,000 extraordinary minds has a unique story to tell.
