  • Manages active medium projects with minimal assistance from Management.
  • Resolves project issues and resource constraints within the team and with moderate assistance.
  • Facilitates positive team member interactions and manages conflict with minimal assistance.
  • Establishes/practices standard project reporting procedures to client and management (i.e. minutes, agendas).
Client Management:
  • Manages client satisfaction by managing client expectations efficiently with minimal assistance from Management.
  • Maintains very good relationship with client and grow it positively.
Product Development:
  • Makes recommendations on drug development and regulatory guidelines to client.
Business Management:
  • Plans, monitors and ensures completion of all activities outlined in the client quote for each project.
  • Prepares amendments for changes of scope in a timely manner.
  • Creates and maintains client timelines.
  • Create and maintain deliverables within ChangePoint
  • Contributes to Unit monthly forecasts by managing project Estimated Monetary Value (EMV) and tracking reporting of revenue Risks and Opportunities.
  • Identifies opportunities to improve performance of PDS PM Department with a focus on efficiency and effectiveness and supports
  • Participates in continuous improvement initiatives to drive the performance of the PDS PM Department, the site and the Network (as appropriate)
People Management:
  • Supports onboarding and training for new hires within the PDS PM Department
How will you get hereEducation
  • Minimum Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.).
Experience
  • Minimum 5 years industry experience.
Equivalency:
  • Equivalent combinations of education, training, and relevant work experience may be considered.
Knowledge, Skills, AbilitiesOne of the following:
  • Masters of Business Administration (MBA), Masters of Science (M.Sc.), Doctorate (Ph. D.) or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
  • Minimum 5 years product development experience.
  • Minimum 5 years Project Management experience.
  • Minimum 5 years client management experience.
  • Minimum 2 years experience in managing a department in pharmaceutical industry.
  • Well organized with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple project deliverables.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, as well as the ability to motivate and influence.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and prioritize.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to work both in a team environment as well as independently as required.

  • Proficiency in the English Language.

May require occasional equipment operation including keyboard equipment. Lifts light items for limited duration. Typically located in a comfortable indoor area. There may be regular exposure to mild physical discomfort from factors such as dust, fumes or odours, temperature extremes, loud noise, strong drafts, or bright lights.
