Knowledge and experience in related subject areas as well as a background working with children would be strong assets but is not required. These individuals need to be flexible and able to work closely with others to supervise students and ensure a classroom environment conducive to learning. Report to the school office on arrival;2. Report to the school office before leaving at the end of the day and complete a Classroom Supervisor form;3. Suitably record student attendance;4. Complete morning, noon-hour, and after school supervision assigned to the teacher that day under the supervision of a school administrator that day;5. Present the lesson prepared by the classroom teacher. Classroom Supervisors do not assess or plan lessons;6. Leave a written statement of work done;7. Seek assistance/advice from the School Administrator(s) before taking major disciplinary action;8. Expected to work up to 8 hours/day for a full day and 4 hours for a half day.(The Principal has the discretion to allow the individual to leave once his/her duties are complete.)9.
