If you are not currently authorized to work in Canada, the employer will not consider your job application.NOC 65310This posting is for 1 to 2 full time permanent cleaners working 75 to 80 hours biweekly. The successful applicant must be a Canadian resident or have a current valid status to work in Canada.Duties Include:

  • Cleaning houses/commercial buildings; includes cleaning stoves, fridges, dusting horizontal surfaces, cupboards, vacuuming;
  • Sweep, mop, wash, wax and polish floors;
  • Cleaning interior and exterior windows;
  • Sidewalk snow maintenance;
  • Clean, disinfect and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances;
  • Clean and disinfect public areas such as changing rooms, showers, and elevators;
  • Pick up debris and empty trash containers;
  • Shampooing carpets;
  • Stripping and waxing floors;
  • Restock supplies;
  • Wash windows, walls and ceilings with telescopic poles;
  • Stock supplies;
  • Lock doors, secure buildings, set alarms, close windows before exiting building;
  • Report and store lost and found items;
  • Must be able to lift up to 25 Kilograms
  • Other related duties.
Desired Qualifications
  • Ability to communicate clearly;
  • Ability to work in a cross cultural environment;
  • ability to work as part of a team and individually;
  • Must be able to communicate in English verbally and in writing.
Mandatory Certifications and Clearances
  • WHMIS (Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System).
  • Minimum 6 months previous cleaning experience;
  • Valid criminal record check;
  • Must have valid class 5 drivers license and have personal vehicle;
  • Must be able to work split shift;
  • Must be Able to work 6 days a week and be on call for emergencies;
  • Must be able to work overtime when necessary.
