This will allow you to continue working your regular job or attend school during the day while completing the tuition-free training.How will it workThis tuition-free intensive training class will be held Monday/Tuesday/Thursday evenings and every Saturday (full day) for roughly 9 weeks. Upon successful completion you will be offered a Seasonal position as a Flight Attendant.Being a Flight Attendant isn’t just a career, but more importantly, it is a lifestyle. If you want to provide the exceptional hospitality and customer service Air North is known and loved for, we want to hear from you!As a Flight Attendant, your primary responsibility would be to ensure the safety of all passengers and crew while on duty. This includes enforcing and following all standard operating procedures and regulatory requirements. You will learn to be proficient in operating emergency equipment such as oxygen systems, aircraft doors, fire extinguishers, galley equipment, communication equipment and lighting systems.What you will get from us:

Qualifications of Employment:
  • Grade 12 High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Must be a Canadian citizen with a valid passport and able to fly into the Unite States
  • Minimum 19 years of age (18-year-olds may be considered under certain circumstances)
  • Living in Whitehorse, Yukon
  • Advanced level of written and spoken English
  • Basic knowledge of MS Word, Excel and databases
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in customer service
  • Required to obtain and retain a valid Restricted Area Identification Card (RAIC)
  • Be physically fit (able to lift up to 30 pounds repetitively, able to stand/walk for extended periods of time, work in pressurized environment and be able to lift up to 70 pounds with force in case of emergency)
Being an “F/A” requires availability for shifts that are scheduled 7 days a week - this means weekends, evenings, early mornings, and holidays. This flexibility is required to fit the dynamic nature of the aviation industry!Upon successful completion of our Air North Flight Attendant Training Program, you will be paid a generous completion bonus.
