Wilkie School of Dance – Wilkie, SKWe are looking for an enthusiastic dance teacher to join our wonderful team of instructors.About Us: Wilkie School of Dance is a competitive dance studio offering classes in Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Acro, Lyrical, Hip Hop and Contemporary for students ages 5-17. We also offer a beginner class for 3 and 4 year olds. We operate as a community club with a volunteer parent Executive Team who work closely with our teachers, providing support with scheduling, costumes, communication, etc.Responsibilities include:- provide dance instruction to students ages 5-17- choreograph group and solo dance routines in preparation for competition and recital (includes music and costume selection)- late afternoon and evening class instruction- ability to attend weekday and weekend dance competitions through late March and April, dance recital and picture dayWe are accepting applications from teachers of all styles of dance, the ability to teach multiple disciplines would be a plus. Strong background in Ballet would be an asset as this is a current need for our dance studio.Qualifications:- passionate, positive, committed, and creative- ability to maintain good classroom control- experience teaching groups of children ages 5-17 yrs- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with students, parents and executive teamCompensation:- hourly salary based on relevant qualifications and experience- mileage reimbursement available- training/development reimbursement programJob Type: Part-timeSalary: $25.00-$35.00 per hourQuick Apply
