Job Description

SolutionsIT has an immediate position available for a full or part time bookkeeper and administrator. This position would answer to the head bookkeeper and would be assisting in processing G/L entries, payables, reconciliations, and report writing.SolutionsIT has an immediate opening for a Network Support Administrator. We are looking for applicants who take pride in the quality of their work and who share our commitment to honesty, integrity, and personal accountability. You must have extremely strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of technical personnel, executives, managers, and subject matter experts. A sense of urgency for task completion and for client experience are essential. This role comes with the opportunity of having a flexible remote work environment, with the expectation to be onsite when required.Responsibilities where assistance would be required:

  • AP - Daily invoice entry, weekly & monthly payments to vendors, credit card.
  • Payroll assistance - Including source deductions, remittances, ROE/T4 submissions, sales commissions.
  • Federal/Provincial Tax Remittance - GST, PST, Corp. Tax
  • Daily management of all bank accounts, including monthly bank and credit card reconciliations.
  • Coordinating with other staff and submitting of import and export documents.
Required Skills: (Some training is provided)
  • Previous bookkeeping training or equivalent experience
  • Proficiency with Windows 10 and Microsoft Office 365 suite (Outlook, Excel, Word specifically)
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks with different timelines.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently, but also as a team member.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
  • Organized, Friendly and Professional
Preferred Skills:
  • Proficient with Quickbooks
  • Advanced user of Excel
  • Familiar with the use of TEAMS
