Job Description

Winkler Co-op is hiring a part-time Cashier Supervisor, at the Winkler Food Store.

  • Minimum of 24 hours guaranteed.
  • This position qualifies for health benefits, sick time, employee rebates and pension.
What you’ll do:The Cashier Supervisor is responsible for delivering world-class customer service; providing leadership and direction to all front-end staff; operating cash registers and taking payment from customers; assisting with merchandising; and maintaining cleanliness and housekeeping standardsThe Cashier Supervisor will live the Co-op Brand and strive to achieve and maintain positive and healthy relationships with co-workers and customers.Who you are:You are looking for a job in Customer Service and:
  • Are committed to service excellence and are a team player
  • Enjoy working in a diligent manner with attention to detail
  • Are able to stand for extended periods of time
  • Are able to frequently lift 10-25 pounds.
  • Have strong interpersonal skills and possess a friendly disposition
  • Have good communication skills, verbal and written
  • Have good numerical skills and ability to handle cash.
  • Able to work 24 hours per week.
