Job Title: School Liaison WorkerEmployment Status: 50% Permanent (3.75 hours per day)School/Location: Parkland Elementary SchoolStart Date: September 6, 2022Posting #: 03-SLW-22The School Liaison Worker, under the direction of the School Principal and Student Services Administrator and as a member of the school student support team, will provide successful integration of students into our school system and support families in connecting / accessing resources. The Liaison Worker will be supportive to the family in facilitating a cooperative relationship with the school._____________________________________________________________________________________________Preferred Qualifications & Experience:
  • Grade 12 or equivalent
  • Experience and/or training in the advertised position
  • Ability to relate to the school community and community value base
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to communicate in High German, Low German and/or Russian would be an asset
  • Effective written, verbal and listening communication skills
  • Highly effective organizational and time management skills
  • Abilities in the use of computers and computer software
  • Applicants must possess a valid Class 5 driver’s license and have access to a vehicle

It has an estimated student enrollment of 250 for the 2022/2023 school year.
